The Gaden Shartse Monastic University, presented by the office of His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama and coordinated worldwide by Inkarri Multicultural Association through the Buddha Maitreya Project, has embarked on it’s 8th World Tour for Inner Peace and will travel within Europe and America throughout 2011.

The objective of the activities of the Tibetan monks during the World Tour for Inner Peace in 2011 is to kindle and share the spirit of universal compasssion, inner peace, and unity with the public at large and also with those who represent the sacred traditions of America, Europe and the East. They will share with us many aspects of their culture, including their spiritual teachings, medicine, astrology, sacred ceremonies, initiations, chants, and dances.

They will also participate in ecumenical events with religious institutions, humanist associations, and philosophical or mystical schools, with the aim of establishing a relationship of harmony that supports and fosters mutual understanding and appreciation between people of all walks of life.

Some aspects of Tibetan medicine, psychology, philosophy, and Tibetan Astrology will be shared for the first time through theoretical and practical workshops and conferences, which will be offered in multiple centers and institutions throught Europe and America.

The principle topic explored within their activities is the cultivation of virtues such as compassion, universal love, unity, and inner peace. Within this context, the monks offer initiation ceremonies, meditations, and energetic purification rituals, all of wich are based on the principles that have been at the center of their culture throughout its history. Through their work, they promote the spiritual ideal of their tradition, share their inner knowledge, and support the development of harmony on the planet.

Inkarri and the Tibetan monks seek to build a bridge of light and transformation in order to create a greater degree of happiness within the life of those who participate in their activities. These are objectives that the Tibetan monks have dedicated their life to cultivating as passed down from their ancestral tradition.
